Well secured by a stable external bar, up to two children from 1 to 7 years old can be transported in a child seat (DIN EN 14344) mounted on the luggage rack. A second bar is used to hold on, so that the hands and arms remain inside. The standard spoke protector prevents inadvertent contact with the spokes, while the sideloader serves as a footrest. If the maximum permitted weight of the safety bar (50 kg) is not exceeded, a child can be transported in a child seat (DIN EN 14344) together with another passenger over 7 years of age. In this case, the child seat must be mounted at the rear. If two child seats are used, it must be taken into account that the heaviest child must be placed directly behind the driver. In this case, the rear child seat supports a maximum weight of 10 kg. The Safety Bar Kit allows you to safely transport up to two children from 7 to 9 years of age (not allowed in the case of HS bicycles).
