Van Raam - Fun2Go side by side

The Fun2Go is a three-wheeled tandem cycle for two people where the users sit next to each other. One person steers and both can pedal. The two people have a good view and can communicate well with each other because the seats are close together. The riders can get on without having to swing a leg over and the seats can easily be adjusted to the required distance with a lever. The seats can also optionally rotate, making getting on even easier. The manoeuvrability of the Fun2Go tandem bike is enormous, with two wheels completely at the back and one wheel at the front, it can turn on its own axis.

Van Raam has been producing this duo bike for over 20 years and has already manufactured several thousand Fun2Gos. Because of this, the bike has been fully optimized over the years.

Transmission

On the Fun2Go, the rider and passenger pedal in the same gear with a shared 8-speed hub. Optionally, it is possible to choose a double 8-speed hub, allowing the rider and passenger to choose their own gear independently.

With the optional shifting hub, the main rider can set the way the co-rider pedals. This transmission option is especially for tandem bikes used for therapy. With the co-pedal mode, you can motivate people to move more, or you can disable the transmission completely in case you don't want the user to pedal. The shifting hub has three modes:

• Mode A : With the 8-speed hub, the passenger and driver pedal in the same gear.
• Off Mode : With the freewheel hub, the passenger can pedal independently of the rider or keep their feet still on the pedals. The passenger has full freewheel, so they do not contribute to the bike's drivetrain.
• Mode B : The passenger has a fixed gear in which he pedals. This is called co-pedal mode.

Note: The shifting hub can only be operated when the tandem bicycle is stationary.

Smart E-bike

An electric motor/pedal assist is an option that makes riding this modern, side-by-side tandem bike even more “funtogo.” For safety reasons, the Fun2Go is limited to a maximum speed of 20 km per hour. More information about this option can be found under electric pedal assist.

If you choose the optional electric pedal assist, it will be delivered as a smart e-bike with a Silent smart display. On this display, you can find a lot of information about the battery and the bike. The Van Raam Silent e-bike is equipped with a starting aid, which provides additional support when starting to pedal. Options

In addition, there are many other options that can complete the Fun2Go. You can fully customize the Fun2Go to your preferences by adding additional options. With a universal adapter on the back of the bike, you can add many useful options to carry a folding walker, wheelchair or extra luggage with you. It is also possible to equip the tandem bike with mountain gears, making it easier to climb a hill or mountain. You can find all the options in our configurator or in the price list.

The Fun2Go is optionally available with a reinforced frame. A single seat of the Fun2Go is suitable for persons weighing up to 180 kg. When two persons are seated on the Fun2Go, the bike can carry a total weight of up to 280 kg (distributed between the 2 seats).
