The motor can provide 250 watts and has a torque output of 54 Nm, giving the Winther Kangaroo Lite plenty of power, both on climbs and during rapid acceleration. The motor is extremely quiet and durable in all weather conditions.
Plus, with the Alfine 8-speed internal shifting system, riders can easily shift between gears to find the right level of resistance for their riding needs. Internal gears provide a smooth and efficient shifting experience, allowing riders to maintain their momentum and power across various terrain and conditions.
The motor system is powered by a powerful 504 Wh Li-Ion battery (equivalent to 14 Ah), located in the rear grill. This location ensures balanced weight distribution for optimal handling and stability. Together with the motor, the battery offers you an estimated range of up to 55 km on a single charge, but of course, this depends on the terrain, weather conditions, load and level of assistance.
Monitoring the engine and assist levels is easy with the handlebar-mounted display. The display allows drivers to select between 3 different power levels (Eco, Normal, High), providing different levels of assistance depending on their preferences and needs. This allows for a customized driving experience, whether conserving battery power on flatter terrain or getting extra boost on steep hills. In addition to its powerful motor and internal gear system, the Shimano STePS E6100 is also compatible with AXA One-Key-System. This feature allows riders to use the same key to lock the battery and the bike, providing added convenience and security.
